Dear comrade,

BRIEFING ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING SATURDAY 20th JULY

I am writing to you as a local Briefing seller/organiser of a Briefing group

to urge you to attend our forthcoming AGM at London's County Hall on 20 July.

With the current 'realignment' on the left we feel that Briefing and its network of supporters nationally and locally can play a vital role in fighting for socialist policies and organising for power. Our AGM will discuss these and other questions at a plenary session with speakers such as Sharon Atkin,Mildred Gordon and Jeremy Corbyn. There will also be a session to discuss specific resolutions from Briefing supporters on the

role,content,organisation and finances of Briefing.

Even if you have never attended a Briefing national meeting before, please try and attend this one. Briefing is your journal, you can help to shape its future. The AGM is open to Labour Party members, but voting will be by

production of a Briefing supporters card only.

Snacks will be provided at the AGM and a creche(bookable in advance only) will also be available. Please bring as many Briefing supporters with you

as possible,

Comradely greetings,

Graham Bash for the Editorial Board
